Ubisoft has announced that it is preparing a battery of measures to combat the cheats in Rainbow Six Siege. Among the most noteworthy novelties will be the introduction of a verification system in two steps for those who want to play in games by rank.
The measures come three an increase in complaints from the community as a result of cheats that modify the game to have competitive advantages in ranked games, such as being able to teleport.
Ubisoft has indicated that they have corrected the exploit that allowed that type of traps and that they have reinforced the security measures in the game. The objective is to detect these errors and correct them before they can be exploited by cheaters.
Not only that: on July 16 the company will begin the expulsion of some 600 players who have cheated with the boosting system on the servers. That is, they have used hackers to improve their results. A few weeks ago Ubisoft updated the official code of conduct of the game to include these actions as a cause of expulsion.
The company is working on the inclusion of new security measures to avoid that. For example, they are developing a two-step verification system that is already in testing, so they hope it will soon reach the community.
